A voice assistant that stays on your own computer

Parviz works on your own Mac. Your voice is turned into text there and the spoken answers are made there, so no recording of your voice is uploaded. Your files stay on your computer. Only the words of the task go to the AI you chose, as if you had typed them.

What does leave my computer?

The words of the task go to the AI service you chose, exactly as if you had typed them there. That is how the work gets done, and it is covered by your own agreement with that provider.

Parviz takes one screenshot when you finish speaking, keeps the latest twenty on your Mac and deletes older ones. A screenshot is looked at only when your words are about your screen. In the beta, finding the thing to point at sends that one screenshot to a cloud service. A version that stays on your Mac is being tested.

Does Parviz see my AI login?

No. You sign in to your AI subscription yourself and Parviz never sees that login. Your email is the login of your Parviz account and nothing else. It is never sold or shared.
