How to Fix Webflow Blog Post Formatting Issues from Make.com

Quick fix for UL and OL formatting issues when automating content from Make.com to Webflow. Saved me 5 hours of debugging!

The Problem

When pushing HTML content from Make.com to Webflow, bullet points and numbered lists weren't displaying correctly.

The Solution

Use the Replace formula module in Make.com to handle UL and OL HTML tags properly.

Steps:

Replace UL tags

Replace OL tags

Run your automation

Important Note About Categories

Avoid using Webflow's category option menu. Here's why:

Categories become hard-coded

Painful to update across all platforms (imagine dropdown options in G sheets, webflow and airtable…)

Better to use simple text fields instead
